This is a Spanish style home in Mission Hills. The owners had re-furbished the inside of the home and wanted a design for the outside. The lot is very small and exposed. The owners wanted privacy so that they could enjoy the front space and entertain. I chose to curve the hedge in as it neared the steps so that we could create a welcoming entrance with a colorful planting and focal point.
