This was a lawn removal and replacement with front yard planting enhancement. Client had smooth stones filling two of the front planting beds. Rather than remove them, I used them as a thick edging to keep plants from encroaching the edges of the planting beds to help with ease of maintenance. The lawn was small so I replaced it with a low growing herb plant to give the look of a green lawn. The brickwork directed the plant color pallet.
